This pattern is worked top down, seamlessly in the round, but you turn and work in the opposite direction on each new row. You’ll start by working a waistband side to side from which you will work the rest of the skirt.

Elastic ribbon in the same length as your waist, approximately 4 cm wide.
 
Methods
Moss stitch -  first row: sc 1, ch 1 while skipping the next st. On the next row, sc 1 under the ch from previous row, and ch 1 over the sc from previous row. 1 sc + 1 ch are counted as 1 moss st. All moss st counts are including the first 2 ch of row.
Yarn over slip stitch - yarn over, insert hook in the advised loop, pull yarn through all loops on hook.
